Masterclass: Low literacy - the biggest access need
Have you ever thought about the literacy skills a user needs to access your website and social media? Challenge your perceptions about the numbers of people with low literacy and low digital literacy and what it means for them.
It may appear access to and use of the digital space is part of all of our communities.
The needs of people with low literacy and low digital literacy skills are rarely considered.
This ranges from the navigation, to what and how information is written and where it is on webpages.
If you were told 44% of Australian adults had difficulty using a website you were managing you would do something about it. Join a conversation where we put people with low literacy at the centre of all our development. Walk away with some tips to use and a new appreciation of who is currently not being included.
